Meet the Owners
Athenas and Jeremy are managing partners and Co-Owners of AIM Maintenance, LLC. Together, they direct each aspect of AIM, from logistics, contracts, and asset management to hands-on operations, heavy equipment field management, and civil excavation.
Over the past 15 years, they’ve worked side by side to build their shared vision into a reliable civil contracting firm capable of navigating the demanding environmental and economic landscape of Alaska. With an expanded fleet, a large regional footprint, and improved technical capabilities, AIM has robust offerings with the feel of a local, family-owned business.
Q&A with Jeremy & Athenas
-
The daily challenge of solving complex logistical puzzles and seeing a project transition from raw, undeveloped acreage into precisely engineered, completed infrastructure
Civil construction requires a high level of problem-solving, and there is immense professional satisfaction in executing a plan flawlessly despite unpredictable variables. We love working together as a team to deliver tangible, lasting results that directly improve the structural foundation of our region.

AIM…is a direct reflection of our personal values: partnership, absolute transparency, and localized expertise. Operating a civil construction firm in Alaska presents distinct challenges, particularly regarding materials availability, strict seasonal timelines, and complex supply chains.
What makes AIM unique is our proactive approach to these hurdles and our deep commitment to collaboration. We pride ourselves on building strong, transparent working relationships with residents, fellow contractors, and vital government entities.
For us, AIM is not just a business; it is a mechanism for driving critical development and infrastructure opportunities within our community.
-
Outside of our professional responsibilities, our time is centered entirely around family, community, and the outdoors. As a family, we take full advantage of our beautiful surroundings, spending our free time fishing, hunting, and enjoying the great outdoors.
When it is time to step away from project management and unwind, we love supporting our local community, frequently spending quality time together discovering new things. Our collaborative partnership also extends heavily into the mechanical and technical world, both on and off the clock.

Our philosophy is perfectly captured by the quote:
“We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us.”
In civil contracting, the infrastructure, clearing, and housing foundations we develop today dictate how safely and efficiently our community can grow tomorrow. We look forward to continuing to partner with our clients to shape a stronger, more resilient future for our region.
